The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the manufacture, testing, and installation of new or modified components, equipment, and systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role ensures that engineering solutions meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, quality, and performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Analysis: Assess requirements and define effective engineering solutions.
Design & Innovation: Develop and implement equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and performance.
Performance & Testing: Optimise mechanical systems, conduct tests, and ensure compliance with standards.
Collaboration: Work with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical challenges.
Process & Equipment Optimisation: Design production processes and maintain equipment for peak performance.
CAD & Documentation: Create designs, simulations, technical reports, and compliance documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Apply engineering expertise and data analysis to enhance processes and performance.
Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Impeccable attention to detail.
