
This role involves designing, developing, and overseeing the manufacture and installation of new or modified components and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring engineering solutions meet safety, efficiency, and performance standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
✔ Project Analysis: Assess project requirements and define engineering solutions.
✔ Design & Innovation: Develop and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to enhance safety, reliability, and performance.
✔ Performance Evaluation: Measure and optimise mechanical components and systems.
✔ Collaboration: Work with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and clients to resolve engineering challenges.
✔ Project Management: Apply engineering principles to manage projects within budget and timelines.
✔ Process Development: Design new production processes and agree on specifications with clients.
✔ Equipment Optimisation: Maintain and modify equipment for peak performance.
✔ CAD Modeling: Use CAD software for design, simulation, and modeling.
✔ Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to source materials and components.
✔ Industry Research: Conduct research to stay ahead of industry advancements.
✔ Technical Documentation: Produce detailed designs, test procedures, and technical reports.
✔ Testing & Compliance: Evaluate products to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
✔ Technical Support: Provide data analysis and engineering expertise to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications/Experience:
🔹 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
🔹 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
🔹 Impeccable attention to detail.
