Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our HQ office in Mullaghbawn, working within a collaborative team of engineers with diverse degrees and expertise. You will play a key part in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems that ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance. The position provides exposure to large-scale industrial and data centre projects, delivering critical infrastructure at the highest standards. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Design & Planning: Conduct feasibility studies for new technical innovations, ensuring project viability.

Engineering Software Expertise: Create detailed plans and schematics using computer-assisted design (CAD) software.

Cost Estimation & Project Management: Estimate material, labour, and construction costs, while developing realistic project timelines.

Workforce Coordination: Supervise and coordinate technicians and craftspeople to ensure efficient execution of electrical projects.

System Testing & Data Analysis: Oversee installation testing, collect performance data, and make data-driven recommendations.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical work meets local and international safety regulations.

Inspection & Maintenance Programs: Implement inspection schedules to maintain optimal system performance.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Attend meetings, generate technical reports, and deliver presentations to senior management and clients.

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar electrical engineering role.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse complex systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate projects effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • Must be eligible to work in Europe.
