Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Commissioning Compliance – Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to specifications, plans, and procedures.
• System Testing – Perform rigorous tests and validations to guarantee correct installations and optimal system performance.
• Interface Coordination – Manage testing across all system interfaces for seamless integration.
• Documentation & Reporting – Maintain commissioning records, test scripts, and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Design Change Control – Record any design modifications or as-built changes arising from commissioning activities.
• Equipment Oversight – Identify, source, and manage specialist testing tools and equipment.
• Subcontractor Management – Review, guide, and monitor subcontractor commissioning procedures.
• On-Site Leadership – Supervise subcontractors and specialist engineers during live commissioning.
• Factory Testing – Attend FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) and support the development of test plans.
• Team Development – Lead and mentor Commissioning Engineers and Assistants.
• Schedule Coordination – Ensure commissioning activities align with overall project timelines.
• Weekly Progress Reports – Track project milestones and communicate constraints and solutions to the management team.
Qualifications/Experience:
Qualifications & Experience Required
🔹 5+ years of experience in an Electrical Commissioning Manager or Senior Commissioning role.
🔹Hands-on experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and diagnosing software faults during commissioning.
🔹Excellent knowledge of commissioning practices and standards.
🔹Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
🔹Eligible to work across European locations.
