About Colin Whyte
Colin started with ASEE in 2017 on an Industrial Placement and continued on to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Ulster University in June 2019. As continued professional development, Colin gained the CompEx Ex12 Application Design Engineer qualification in 2021 for design of electrical installations in explosive atmospheres and continues to apply this knowledge in his day-to-day role.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, Colin is involved for the duration of projects from tender to handover being responsible for design and coordination of all aspects of our specialist fuel, ventilation & urea control systems for critical back-up power generation and their associated small power and electrical installations.
While overseeing electrical design of projects across UK & Europe, Colin ensures delivery to meet program and budget whilst complying with local standards and client specifications.”
