We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical and mechanical teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient system installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will coordinate daily site activities, oversee workforce compliance, and liaise with project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
✔ Safety & Compliance: Complete daily safety paperwork, issue permits, and conduct toolbox talks to maintain high health & safety standards.
✔ Workforce Management: Set up work faces, assign tasks, and ensure operatives are equipped and ready to work.
✔ Material & Equipment Coordination: Arrange materials, plant, and access equipment to facilitate site work.
✔ PPE & Compliance: Ensure the workforce complies with personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations.
✔ Project Monitoring: Track installation progress against latest drawings and schedules to ensure project alignment.
✔ Snagging & Quality Control: Create and manage snag logs, clearing snag sheets throughout the project lifecycle.
✔ Technical Documentation: Print and distribute latest drawings and cable schedules to the installation team.
✔ Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
✔ Progress Reporting: Provide daily updates to the Project Manager, outlining progress, challenges, and site issues.
Qualifications/Experience:
🔹 3+ years of experience in a similar Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor role.
🔹 CSCS certification is required.
🔹 Industrial or data center experience preferred.
🔹 Strong understanding of health & safety protocols.
🔹 Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
🔹 Strong communication skills to coordinate with a multi-national workforce.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
🔹 Experience working under an Electrical Project Manager, managing workforce and materials.
