To mark World Health Day, here are some pointers on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

  • Follow a Healthy Eating Plan – You don’t have to go hungry to eat healthy. You may still enjoy your favourite dishes as long as you incorporate lots of healthy, non-processed options. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, seafood, legumes, and nuts are examples.
  • Drink more water – Many individuals spend their days sipping fizzy or sugary coffee beverages. This is not required for a happy or healthy existence. Water may become your favourite beverage.
  • Exercise on a regular basis – The Mayo Clinic suggests 30 minutes of exercise every day. Aside from improving your sleep, increasing your energy, and making you feel happier and healthier overall, exercise will also benefit your health by decreasing your risk of acquiring chronic illnesses such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
